Applications and installation

What kind of conservatory, rooflights or atria do you have?
Insu crystal clear heat reflectors are suitable for all overhead glazing and rooflights, single and double glazing, polycarbonate and plastic roofing and wired glass. They are direct alternatives to external blinds or awnings and the best solar glazing.

Specific applications include conservatories and atria, swimming pools and sports facility roofs, rooflights and canopies in homes, offices, warehouses, restaurants and factories.

Insu crystal clear heat reflectors come in three forms:
1] Solar inserts
– for polycarbonate and plastic roofs
2] Solar laminates for glass roofs
3] High performance winter insulation
for all poorly insulated roofs

Installation
1] Solar inserts – for polycarbonate and plastic roofs
DESCRIPTION: Insu solar inserts can be simply fitted inside the hollow centre section of any existing polycarbonate or plastic roof next to its upper/outer surface.

2] Solar laminates – for single or double glazed roofs and side windows
DESCRIPTION: Insu solar laminates give a clear view out, they are simply fitted to existing or new glass and become an integral, no-maintenance part of the glazing. High performance winter insulation for single glazed, wired glass and twin-walled polycarbonate roofing

3] High performance winter insulation for – single-glazed, wired glass and twin-walled poyycarbonate roofing
DESCRIPTION: For plain or wired single glass roofs/rooflights – An over-roof, above the existing glazing, is recommended for all types of lean-to conservatories, rooflights and commercial factory northlights. This is simply fitted within the existing glazing bars.

An under-roof, below the existing glazing, is recommended for Edwardian and Victorian-style conservatories with shaped ends or any type of glazed roof with deep roof supports.

For twin wall and other polycarbonate/plastic roofs – Over or under- roofs can be fitted, however the prefered solution is to fit completely new high insulating roof panels. These are simply fitted after installing new glazing beads.
